Quick answers
Before you send a request
These answers describe the request service. The independent provider confirms the actual repair terms.
Does Appliance Patrol perform the repair?
No. Appliance Patrol is an independent request and referral website. Repair work, diagnosis, pricing, scheduling, warranty, and payment are handled directly by the independent provider that responds.
Is my appointment confirmed when I submit?
No. Submission confirms only that the request was received. A provider must review the ZIP code, appliance, symptom, and schedule before offering a visit.
Who tells me the price?
The responding provider explains any service call or diagnostic fee and provides repair pricing directly. Appliance Patrol does not quote or collect repair charges.
Do I need the model and serial number?
Not for the first request. If the model label is safely accessible, keep a photo available because the provider may ask for it during follow-up.
What information should I include?
Name the appliance, describe what changed, include any visible error code, and tell us whether there is a leak or access issue. Do not remove covers or disconnect built-in equipment to find details.
Ready when you are
Start with what the appliance is doing.
A ZIP code and a short symptom description are enough for the first review.
